Kitty introducing the Team at Club de Quebec breakfast meeting. |
Tuesday started with an early morning for Rotary Club de Quebec's weekly breakfast meeting at the Chateau Frontenac, a beautiful hotel in Old City Quebec that looks like a big castle. The meeting started with O Canada and business was started. Then we were served a delicious breakfast served by the hotel, consisting of a real croissant (yes, they are better in French areas!), scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit and cheese. After eating breakfast, the GSE team was introduced.

Most of the GSE team, except Ashley, visited Jambette, which is a playground equipment manufacturer. This was a group vocational day with Kitty, who is an employee for the Kingsport Parks and Rec Department.
The team visited the Chute de la Chaudiere, near the Ville de Levis, which is the city on the southside of the St. Lawrence River opposite Quebec City.
